We just purchased one license for the full version of Captivate 9 for the Windows platform. How in the world are we supposed to install on a system where users do NOT have admin rights when the installer requires that someone logon an Adobe account to simply install? How are we supposed to update when the 9.0.2 update mentioned by a blog posting is not posted on the same page as the 9.0.1 update to download? Why is this product so out of tune with other Adobe products with respect to how to install the software?
Other Adobe Products We Use and Install More Easily:
Acrobat - MSI installer allows us to deploy with standard deployment tools and we simply enter our license key
Creative Cloud - except for the silly Acrobat DC installer that only installs with the setup.exe program, we use the Creative Cloud packager to create MSI installs for use with standard deployment tools. These applications when launched ask for the Adobe credentials -- IS employees don't launch, we just install so this works well.
