Hi Team,

I am working on adobe captivate 2019. I have created a graded question with three attempts. after completing the question I navigate to other screen and come back to question, the question was freezed. I need to reset the question when I came back to again.

If anyone face same issue, please help me out.

If this is a normal quiz question slide, the only way to have the user able to make another attempt on the same quiz slide after leaving it will be by using the Return to Quiz functionality.  This involves setting the Quiz Question's ON LAST ATTEMPT event to jump to a remediation slide, and then on that slide have a button that is set with the action Return to Quiz.

If on the other hand you don't really need this question slide to be something that reports to the quiz, why not use a Knowledge Check slide instead.  That slide will always reset itself when the user leaves the slide.  They can come back to the same slide later in the same session and reattempt it.  But it won't have a score and will not be able to report a result to the quiz.

To allow free navigation even while being in a quiz attempt, you can also choose to activate the option 'Submit All' under Quiz Preferences. Answers will not be reset, but they will not be frozen whe coming back the the question. Only when the learner decides he is ready to transmit all answers he can click the button 'Submit All' on whatever question he wants.

I have published a sequence of several articles about Quizzing in the eLearning portal, if you want to learn more about that feature.
