HTML5 animation alway appears on top of other content

I have created an animation in Edge Animate and imported into Captivate 8. I have tried placing on a mater slide and directly on a slide in the Filmstrip. It always jumps on top of the other content on the slide when I preview in a browser, even though it is on the bottom of the stacking order in the layers on a slide in the Filmstrip. If I place it on a Master Slide, the same problem occurs, even though I have the "Master Slide Objects On Top" unchecked.

Why? Is there a fix for this?

That has always been the case for all animations, they are on top of the stack (same for learning interactions). Sorry, that is the 'design', I cannot offer you a workaround.

As for Edge Animate, you can use transparency to have at least the background transparent.

Thank you for the quick response. I have went back into Edge Animate and made a transparent background. Just a frustrating problem to design around. It would be nice if in the description of HTML5 animations it would warn you that it will be on top even though you put it lower in the stacking order. If that information is out there in the help section, I have not found it yet.  Also, it would be nice if you could see the problem when you place the animation on the slide. I am sure there is a technical reason it has to be this way, but would be really nice if they could solve the problem.

Thanks again,

It is linked with the way animations are inserted by the engineers, but I'm not a programmer and cannot explain it.
