HTML5 supported effects in Cap9

New Here ,
Sep 21, 2015 Sep 21, 2015

I'm confused on the effects in Captivate 9. I'm trying to build in just basic object effects (fly in from left) into a responsive project that are in the default effects panel. Supposedly these are all HTML5 supported. However, when I view them on the HTML5 Tracker, they are all listed as "unsupported effects". If that's truly the case, then there are NO effects available to use in a responsive project that will be published as HTML5.

Am I misinterpreting things or shall I just ignore the tracker??

Just double-checked, thought that all the effects were now supported for all projects. I think there is a bug in the Tracker... motion paths were not supported in CP8, they are indicated by the tracker as unsupported. I don't see any effect mentioned in Top issues neither. They play well in Preview, didn't test after publishing but feel you can just ignore that tracker.

Hi! As a followup, I did publish and the effects work just fine. Think you are right about the bug in the tracker. Thanks!!

Fine, Mohana. I overlooked this bug, am I correct that all provided effects

are now supported for responsive projects?

Hi!  I have a similar problem with responsive project animations in Cp9. The tracker lists them as unsupported, the preview shows everything perfectly, but when I publish the project, the fly-ins are extremely choppy. Is it a browser-related problem or Captivate?

Thanks.

Thanks Natasha. Are you seeing the issue in only Firefox or any other browsers as well? Are you facing this only with Fly-in effect or any other effects as well?
