I am running captivate 8 and Powerpoint 2010. This morning it was running fine. This afternoon when I try to do a sync update I get an error having to do with the PowerPoint 2007 compatibility pack. Well I am running 2010 so that makes no sense. If I restart my laptop the first sync update I try works fine. The second gives me the same error I just mentioned. I sent the file pair (.cptx and .pptx) to a coworker who got them to run and update just fine that do not work on mine. If I try a different file pair it updates just fine. If I do an import the import says it is converting the pptx to a ppt file, which I have never seen before. Have I inadvertantly told Captivate to run with .ppt instead of .pptx files? Any ideas?
