I am using captivate 8. The clarity of the published files are poor with black lines on the screen. Is there a way to resolve this issue ?

Hi ,

I am using Captivate 8. The clarity of the published files are very poor . It has black lines on the published file. Kindly suggest if there is a solution for this issues.

Hmm, Mayank, why change to High instead of Optimized for Slide Quality which is the default setting in CP8? And why override the slide quality in Preferences if it is already set to High? I would like to know the reason, always eager to learn. I know that sometimes High leads to lower file size, but didn't know it gave better quality.

My advice would have been to uncheck all Compression settings in Preferences, Size and quality. And I would like to know if the project has been rescaled, if the im

Hi Preethi,

Are you getting these issues in Swf or HTML5 output ? Try to make all the slides quality to "High 24-bit" from slide properties and then go to Edit>Preferences>Project>"Size and quality" and change the settings to high and then try to publish again and see if you still get the same issue?

I am getting the issues when I publish the file in pdf form .The slides are already in "High 24-bit" quality.
