I get an error code stating "Adobe did not download any data" when I try to locate the file to get text to audio voices via the captivate 9, 32 bit link. Why not?

My IS dept installed the captivate 9 software recently and I have only one voice available to me instead of the 6 or 7 that I know are available from previous use of this software.

Can I get a reliable link so I can download those additional voices?

I believe everything you need can be found here: Download locations for Captivate text-to-speech converters - eLearning

I never used the 32-bit. When you open the Speech Management dialog box, you get the opportunity to download the voices.

If you are on Windows, hhey will not be installed in the Captivate installation folder, but in a separate folder under Program Files for 64-bit,  I suppose under Program Files (x86) for 32-bit Can you check if you have that folder already?

L,

Yes, I do have the referenced folder. I will check to see if anything has been downloaded there.
