I get this corrupted file when I import SVG?

When I import an SVG it becomes corrupted. The small image in the top right corner is supposed to be the entire image. Not sure why it appears that there are 2 images overlayed.

How did you create that SVG?

I created it in Illustrator CC and saved as below

You are using the Legacy work flow, try these settings (the Text to outline is only necessary if you have text):

When I removed the preserve editing it gave me this

Hmmm, those settings worked for me. There must be something in that illustration that is corrupting the SVG. Can you try with another illustration? Are you using the latest versions of AI and CP9?

Using Captivate 2017 but had same issue with CP9. I have not yet updates Illustrator to 2017. Actually doing that right now.

I didn't try in CP2017 yet, only upgraded a project which had SVG's, didn't yet import a new SVG. It is bit late to restart my production system now, will try tomorrow.
