Hi all,
Getting a "problem".... I used to search in existing topics and find a solutions for my "basics problems", but this time, no way to find what is going wrong with my Default Styles.
After Copying-Paste Smart Shapes from another project, (created by a collegue in another computer), in my project, I have now multiples Default styles for Success and failure messages quizz.
The names of this styles are not just a copy with a "_1" at the end of the name, but the exactly same Default name. And I can't delete this styles....
I have 20 or more Default name style for success, failure, advise. And the style I use is another style, so I always loose a lot of time searching a Smart Shape style because of this problem.
For info, I am using CP 9.0.0.230 in the 30days demo.
Thank you for your advises

Sounds like you may have been playing around with applying Themes. Is that possible?

Rod,
I am working with one theme, and sometimes I saved this Theme under another name, but not playing so much...

Even if you only use one Theme, and then reapply that same Theme, you will end up with these duplicate object styles.
Another way these things can creep in is by copying and pasting objects from another project.

Ok, so you suggest to rename any Default Style before copying, with another name (in order to be able to delete it, in the slide where I paste).
That's it ?
But with my actual theme, you suggest to restart all to and create another theme ? (And never re-apply a same theme in a project?)
OR there is a way to clean up all this Default Style ?

I made no such suggestions. I regard this issue as a bug and hope you will report it to Adobe to indicate it should be fixed.
The only way to clean up all these redundant styles is to go into the Object Style Editor and delete them one by one. If the style is being used by one or more objects in the project, you will be prompted to suggest another style to apply to that object instead.
It's a tedious process to be sure.

Hi,
Thank you but yes I know how to delete a Style in The Object Style Editor, but the problem is about these "Default SmartShape styles" that I can't delete or change name...
