I'm experiencing nesting copies of folders in published SCORM lessons

After a long period of flawless uploading of SCORM-compliant lessons to a network file system, suddenly one of the lessons has become corrupted. When publishing, I get this error message (note there are 99 instances of the troublesome .css file!!), and upon investigation, I discover a seemingly endless series of nested copies of the entire file structures of lessons that are *linked to* in the lesson being published.  The directory cannot even be purged, because this error dialog pops up and the file system won't delete them.

Anybody else seeing this?

If this is a network file system then you may find that your IT department may have some kind of backup/restore system attached to it so that users can recover older versions of files.  That might be causing this duplication.

I certainly hope you are not trying to publish DIRECTLY to a network LAN folder.  You should only ever publish to a folder somewhere on your local hard drive and then AFTERWARDS, when everything is finalized, upload the SCORMS to your LMS.
