I thought I could create my own menus with this program, but...

I've been looking for a program for a long time that allows me, without having to add code (since I don't know), to create my menus of all my videos recorded on my hard drive, but it couldn't be.

I'm a big fan of Adobe (actually I have a subscription with them), but I had never heard of this program, which I came across by chance, so I downloaded it so I could try it out. At first I was scared, then I was excited because I was getting what I wanted, after several days, before exhausting the test, I see with amazement that no publication works (especially an executable, my greatest aspiration), because they are executable for private use , and I want each executable in its corresponding folder.

But not only that, I have found other faults that mentioning them here would occupy me a whole day...

I rescued an old program called Autoplay Media Studio, but it is not as easy as Captivate, because it requires a lot of code, although it does allow me to create executables. The downside is that there are not so many tutorials.

Does anyone know of any other program that allows me to create executable and does not require so much code? I am looking to create my own menus to be able to access my video tutorials recorded on my hard drive, and have information about them in an application.

Captivate is very much underestimated, even by many Adobe users, and too bad - it is not part of the Creative Cloud but needs another license.

Executable publishing is no longer possible since the death of Flash Player, and I doubt you'll find any authoring tool which is publishing directly to an executable at this moment.

The published HTML version of a Capivate project needs to be uploaded to a webserver or to a LMS (if you created a SCO, which can report to a LMS). It is more like a website, and you are sharing the URL with your learners. It is rather easy to have a webserver and free. Some LMSs have a free start version, and they will manage your user accounts. I use part of my domain as webserver. Here is an example URL:

You may have missed my previous comment on one of your other threads, but Captivate is not a video tool, which at this moment is what you are looking for. You can publish to MP4, but that wil eliminate all interactivity. Stitching videos in one project with a launch menu is not at all the purpose of an eLearning authoring tool. I have posted a link for you in the other thread to an interactive video (not a passive one) with an added menu. That type of output also needs a webserver.
