Hello everyone,
I recently published a new project in Adobe Captivate. When I opened the file in our LMS (Docebo) no pictures in the file appear. The file was published to scorm standards. The pictures either show up as all white space like the picture below. If it doesn't show up as white, it just shows up as the tan background. All the images used were uploaded from my computer.
This is happening with all images, whether its the image for the introduction, title & image, meet the team etc.
I found this older thread, but I'm not sure if it's still relevant with the new Captivate. Media Images not showing up - Adobe Support Community - 10349311
In the new Adobe Captivate, what is the easiest way to find out what the correct image size should be? I'm ok resizing pictures but I can't figure out where in the new Captivate to see the recommended size for different images.

You'll not find any information in older threads since the new version has a completely different UI and workflows.
You uploaded the output to a LMS, did you activate Reporting for the output? That is the only way to create a SCO, a zipped folder compatible with SCORM protocols and able to transmit data to the LMS.
I suppose you changed the source image when using the slide templates. Which format do you use for the images? I don't think resizing images would solve anything.
Which browser do you use for Preview and when viewing the output in the LMS?
Can you upload the output to SCORM Cloud to test if the problem is due to Captivate or to the LMS (or the server)?

I uploaded the output to SCORM Cloud and there were still no images in the output.
Reporting was activated, the images were PNG files and I was using EDGE browser.

Hmm, wonder if there is need for the JSON protocol on the server.
Just to test: can you replace one of the images by a JPEG image?

I replaced the first few images that I had in the file as JPEG's and all of the images worked. So I'm not sure why it happened or if it'll happen again but it worked in the last scrom export that I had.

Did you check if the server you are using supports JSON?

What is the best way to do that?

I know a lot about Captivate, but not about servers. So, I asked ChatGPT, here is the answer:
"You can detect if a server supports JSON by sending an HTTP request to the server and checking the response headers. If the server supports JSON, it will return a Content-Type header with the value of application/json1. You can also check if the server returns a JSON object instead of an HTML page1."

Got it, not sure what the solution was, it just worked. Same computer/location/etc
In other news, has anyone had pictures where they try to make it greyscale and it only does so for part of the picture? I'm see this in the app and in preview.

Do you use one of the image presets to create this greyscale image? Which theme do you use?

I've been using the 'Light' theme and it is using the 'Greyscale' image filters. It will happen with every image used in that specific location, on the left side of the screen, with three images visable.

I have tried the Greyscale filter in the Light theme on several images, but it always works on the complete image. It is difficult to find a solution if I'm not able to reproduce the problem.
