Import Cap 8 to Cap 9

Will there be any issues if I use Captivate 9 to open a finished responsive Captivate 8 project? Once opened I plan to save it as a Captivate 9 responsive project.

I cannot tell for sure because i didn't upgrade a responsive project. Some issues occurred with states, shape buttons in particular because states changed in CP9. If you use shape buttons on master slides, states are lost (bug in CP9).

Other possible problems could occur with quiz slides, if you customized the quiz master slides because there are some changes there (Next button has been replaced by Skip button, doubles no longer as Next in Review, because Review has dedicated buttons in CP9).

Thanks Lilybiri for your helpful reply and suggestions. As you mention, we are having problems with moving the shape buttons from 8 to 9. Same goes with the WebObject -- from 8 to 9. Looks like we will have to rebuild buttons and WebObjects. Otherwise everything came in correctly--responsive 8 to responsive 9.

Again, many thanks for your reply and help!
