Installing Captivate license question

New Here ,
Aug 16, 2018 Aug 16, 2018

Once Captivate 9 has been installed on a primary machine at work would I be able to install on a Virtual device as well?

Also would a Home PC be declared as a virtual device?

You can install on two machines with the same license, provided you don't use them at the same moment. If it is a perpetual license, use the same serial number. If it is a subscription license, use the same Adobe ID.

1.4 “Computer” means a virtual or Physical device would this be considered your primary – Is One installation considered a primary installation to a primary device which your second installation would be a portable, or Home PC

And could a home pc be declared as a virtual device?

Thank you,

Tony

You can install as many times as you want, but on the third installation you'll see a warning that you can only have it activated on two devices, doesn't matter if they are virtual or not.

Okay I understand, but could you send me the EULA that would support that type of installation. If Adobe does assume the right to audit they will go straight to entitlements.

Thank you,

Tony Hernandez

Sorry, I'm just a user, don't know what you mean by EULA... maybe you need to contact Adobe.

EULA - End User License Agreement – it usually is a part of the installation that everyone usually skips ☹ and doesn’t bother to review.

Don't ask this on a user forum, ask Adobe or look at their site.

If you want to see the Captivate EULA and view it in several different languages, just install the Captivate trial version.

Once installed, go here:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 2017 x64\Legal
