Interactive VIDEO - (not flash or html)

I've created a project with 6 branching options.

Each option displays information and then the user is asked another question (yes or no), which then branches again. Works great in flash and html but can this be published as a video (YouTube, mp4) and still keep the functions?

I've tried several different ideas, such as creating smaller video chunks and playing them, pausing them with a button, but it doesn't seem to work.

We need the option for the user to go back to the beginning 6 options at any time while they are playing one of the branches, and I can't get that working either.

Am I just asking too much out of publishing as a video?

Hi there

The answer is no. Once you create an MP4 there can be no interactivity at all.

I think if this is what you are interested in, you should investigate Camtasia Studio. In Camtasia Studio you have an ability to insert a Callout that pauses the timeline and waits for a click. The click can be programmed to take the viewer to another spot on the timeline.

But it's worth noting that even if you used Camtasia, this would not work on YouTube. It would only work if you produced the video with its associated files, then uploaded all the files to a Web Server and deployed that way.
