I have a friend who asked me a question tonight about captivate 9 master slides and buttons.
Her issue was she can't make a button with states ( up, rollover, down ) in a master slide. No matter how we approached it it was not possible at all.
Now you can do this in the filmstrip view. What gives Adobe? Are we not seeing the obvious or is Cptv8(9) an unfinished product like all the previous versions?
Unhappy at the omission of such a simple thing.
Luke
This was possible in Captivate 8 (shape buttons on master slides with three states), but indeed it was lost in Captivate 9 with the new approach to states. I feel very sad about that myself, and cross my fingers it will soon be recovered in a next release.
May I ask to send a bug report? I did already, and it helps a lot to have a bug solved if many users are logging the bug. Here is the link:

Wow thanks Liybiri, coming from you, that is a big deal. Lets hope it is soon revisited by the development guys.

I have never ignored bugs, nor missing features, on the contrary. If you look at my blog, you see that I am big fan of all the possibilities of shapes and shape buttons, and very sensitive to their behavior. Every application has bugs, and especially with big changes like happened for states between CP8 and CP9 there is a risk of having this kind of omission occurring. Please, log that bug report and help asking other users to do the same. The Adobe team is listening, be sure!
