Is it possible to merge audio/video in a trimmed Adobe Captivate video demo?

When trimming the video, it creates "pieces" (for lack of a better word) and breaks the audio up, as well.  I need one audio track to export, because when I attempt to add a video demo to a Captivate project it jacks up the audio every time.  The only way I've found to fix this is to export the audio and manually manipulate it after re-importing into the project.

I never create the audio at the same time for a video demo, but create it separately and import it after having finished the video editing. You need to have 'audio' to be able to replace it, but that is only temporary in my case.
