Hello, I would like to file a complaint about the Adobe CS service. I purchased the perpetual version of Adobe Captivate CC for about $1200. I have a total of three computers. After repeatedly installing and uninstalling Windows, I exceeded the allowed number of computers for my serial number and was connected to an Adobe chat agent named "Apurva." Previously, when I exceeded the allowed number, the agent would refresh the serial number for me if I provided it during the chat. However, this time, they refused to do so and instead, agent told me to discard my serial number and subscribe to the service, paying more money to use the program. How is this reasonable? Why would anyone buy a perpetual version if it's going to be made unusable like this? I'm really angry. Furthermore, agent claimed that this is the company policy. When I asked to see this policy, they did not show it to me and said a manager would call me, then disconnected the chat without my consent. I'm furious. Has Adobe ever informed me that I need to deactivate my serial number when reinstalling Windows? No! Please reactivate my serial number! Moreover, a manager called and said my only option was to subscribe to Captivate CC and continue paying additional fees! How is this fair? I've already spent over $1000 on the perpetual version, and now I can't use my program anymore because of a Windows reinstall. Isn't Adobe supposed to be one of the best IT companies? Yet, there's no feature to log into my account and deactivate previous computer programs? Is this the extent of the capabilities of the world's leading IT company?
