Localisation: voice timing and text animation

Hello everybody
I'm interested to know: how do you set up your module for different languages (Voice-over) and text/images animations in Adobe Captivate (Release 2017).

For example:
You've got a slide with five bullet points. If the trainer speaks about the first point, this bullet point (text) will fade in. After a while, he's speaking about the second bullet point and the matching text will fade in. And so on… Until all five bullet points have appeared.

Everything is now translated by a professional agency e.g. in Japanese and you get back all written text and the Japanese trainer voice as a MP3.
But unfortunately you don't speak Japanese!

How do you make sure that the timing is still right?
The Japanese voice can be much shorter or longer. Maybe the word order changes and the first point should be displayed 10 seconds earlier.

Actually, I wanted to record each bullet point individually. Then I would have the certainty that the text (bullet point fade in) and the voice fit together.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to use multiple audio tracks in a slide (Timeline) in Captivate.

How do you solve this problem?

Thank you for the help and best regards.

One very important information is msising: do you need CC? If not, you are not limited to slide audio, but you can use object audio which would be much easier in this case. Have a look at this example movie, where I used object audio instead of slide audio for the bullet points in a list:

Sorry for the TTS, it was one of the last examples I created for my Timeline presentation:

Hello Lilybiri

Thank you for your quick response and the example.
Yes, I use closed captioning (CC) for all my projects. The object audio function was also my first thought. Then I failed (as you mentioned) on the closed captioning.

Is there no way to add multiple audio tracks to a Slide?
Is there a way to use the object audio function and displaying the transcript?
Or are there other possibilities?

Thank you and best regards.

Maximum number of audio tracks on slide level, if you tunr on System audio, is 2. But I don't think that system audio can be included in CC. For object ausio you could mimick CC by using custom text containers with mulitiple states. With a similar solution as I showed in that movie, you can automate the appearance of the correct state for that text container synchronized with the appearance of the bullet points which have object audio attached. I don't see another solution at this moment.

This is extremely sad and not a satisfactory solution from Adobe.

But in that case I will create my own closed captioning button, which then opens a window with the transcript.

Thanks for the help and have a nice day.
