New Here ,
Sep 23, 2015 Sep 23, 2015

Iam using captivate 9 trial version. Am facing an issue in localization content on button Roll over and Down.

Steps:

1> Launch Captivate

2> Update Simulations with Localized images.

3> Click Import

4> Click project captions and closed captions

5> Select the word document and click Open.

Observation:

Localized Text on Button get Change but the Roll Over click and Down does not change.

Expected:

Localized Text should get updated on Roll Over click and Down.

Which type of buttons are you using? I have no solution but think that is

an important detail: text button, transparent button or shape button? For

frequently used buttons create a style, you can assign states in Object

Style Manager.

Hello Lily,

Thanks for the reply.

1> We are using Text button.

2> We have to manually edit the button by entering State view.

3> Cp 6 was not having this problem after importing project captions and closed captions.

Could you please share your project so that we can investigate the issue at our end?

You can upload it to a shared location (say Dropbox) and send the link to murugath@adobe.com

Well i cannot share the project but you can try this by taking any "simulation" which has "text button".

Steps:

1> Launch Captivate

3> Click Export

4> Click project captions and closed captions

5> a word doc will capture all captions on simulations. in second column add any Localized text and

6> Click Import

7> Click project captions and closed captions

8> Select the word document and click Open.

Now the text on the button is replaced with Localized text but the Roll Over click and Down does not change.

You can take a preview and check the button.

please find few screens in attachment where we did manual editing through "State View".

We tried the steps but couldn't see any issue.  It would be great if you can share the sample project with few slides.

Thanks,

Rahinie
