Loss of audio from one slide to next

I am using Captivate 9 and once I published my project to my LMS, the audio is lost about 2/3 of the way in, from one particular slide to the next. I can send an example if need be. Any ideas are appreciated.

Are the audio clips inserted separately into each slide?

Do you leave a slight gap (e.g. at least one tenth of a second) between the ends of the timeline and the ends of each clip?

Yes clips inserted separately and yes I leave a slight gap. It seems to be only that one slide causing the issue because I tried moving it elsewhere and when I play it does the same thing to the next slide after it regardless of where it is in the course.

Delete that problem slide and rebuild another one to replace it.
