If you know the difference between a video and an interactive project (SWF or HTML5) you wouldn't have asked this question. A video is always passive, you never have other activity than using the control panel of the video to pause, play, play quickly etc. It has no sense to create interactivity in the Captivate file at all if you want video.

It is because I KNOW the difference that I asked this question. If you do not have any useful suggestions, please, do not answer the question.

I have to say, like Lilybiri, I was a little confused by your question.
MP4 video isn't an interactive format. Any apps that claim to be offering interactive video are actually placing interactive layers ON TOP of the video playing underneath.
Is that what you were expecting Captivate to do?

Hi,
Thank you for your reply. Yes. I was trying to find ways to maintain the interactivity when producing as video.. Where can I find info on the "on top" layers?

You won't find it with Captivate. Video is not interactive.

OK, will never try to bother you with an answer again.
