Mac and Captivate 9 Add Text Captions

New Here ,
Aug 15, 2017 Aug 15, 2017

I'm recording a Screen Capture -Software Simulation- Demonstration with Add Text captions turned on.   When editing/viewing slides, caption boxes are not appearing where I click.  I've used this feature in PC, no problem (big time saver).  Is this there something different I need to do for Mac when editing (before publishing)?

Hi There!

Which mode are you recording in? By default, Captivate has Text Caption (Caption Boxes) enabled ONLY for Demonstration mode. For any other mode e.g. Assessment, Training or Custom, you would have to enable Text Caption by going into Preferences > Recording > Modes

LATEST

??? This was the question:

".....'m recording a Screen Capture -Software Simulation- Demonstration with Add Text captions turned on"

Can you please check the exact version of 9: it should be the latest version which is 9.0.2.437. There were some bugs in former versions.
