Matching Column 1 Fades

I am converting our .swf captivate training videos to HTML5. After I publish and watch the HTML5 video, the column 1 header and all the options in column 1 fade to the point where you can't see them on two different matching quiz slides. It looks like there is a timing fade out option, but when I look over in properties, I don't see the Timing tab. Does anyone know how to remove this fade out?

Which version are you using (exact number, please)?  Are you talking about a normal or a responsive project? How did it look when using Preview HTML in Browser? Is this theme an original theme in this version or an upgraded theme?

I'm using version 8.0.1.242. I believe it is a normal project. There is no fading in the preview HTML in browser. It is a modification of the original theme. I just changed the background, took off the blue background, and change the size of the text.

Could you upgrade? Last version is 8.0.3.290.

Did you check the quizzing master slide for Matching questions?

I had the same problem and found the answer last week. The text was white for bot Column 1 & Column 2. This caused the answers in the drop down to be white on white. Adding more responses in column 2 gave me the ability to copy the dark alpha character style and copy it into the existing answers.
