I am having a strange loading issue with the Matching question type. For some reason when a matching question slide is loading the left column (column 1) always loads only partly, leaving some of the question items blank, then after a few seconds the remaining question items load. The right column always loads all at once though. This two part loading looks quite unprofessional since the slide looks incomplete while the rest of the items load.
Is there a way to prevent this and have column 1 load all at once. I am not doing anything out of the ordinary on this slide, it is a stock standard matching question slide with nothing else added to it. Any suggestions on this?
Ok I have tried out several of the default themes on the same matching question slide and when I preview the left column is still loading in two stages. It is almost as if it is trying to calculate something part of the way in. I have just discovered though that if I do not select "Shuffle Column 1" everything loads correctly in one hit. Seems quite a limitation though not to be able to use shuffle for this question.

The slide may be corrupted.
If you delete the matching slide and insert another one, does that fix the issue?

I actually have multiple matching slides in the project and they are all doing this. I created them from scratch.

Which version are you using? Normal or responsive project? Which theme?

I am using Captivate 9, a responsive project and the theme is a custom one that we have created.

Can you just try out one of the included themes to see if the problem is due to the 'custom' theme?
