Hello community,
we have installed Adobe Captivate (Version 9) on a local device to record software simulations.
The programs are recorded in a citrix session.
Here we have found that the mouse pointer is always not visible in input fields, if the recording is played in hindsight.
We were able to produce the same thing without errors on a terminal server (Windows 2008, Windows 2016) and on the local device (Windows 10) with the same settings.
Have somebody a idea?
Thanks a lot.
Marcel

Are you talking about a Video demo or a Software sim? If it is a software sim, which mode?

This is one of the rarest questions I ever saw on the forums, which I visit daily since 10 years. That is probably the reason that you don't get an answer. If you see the mouse pointer when previewing with F11 (HTML in Browser) have no idea why it is not showing up after publishing. Unless there is a terminology problem: what do you mean by mouse pointer? Is that the 'hand' icon perhaps?

I have the same issue. No mouse pointer if recording something within a Citrix environment. The mouse pointer shows up if I try to record something that's not through the Citrix virtual desktop. I think it has something to do with Citrix taking over the mouse in the virtual environment. The issue is present when setting the recording area to screen area or to application window. Were you ever able to find a workaround?

We are having the same issue. Our system recently updated our laptops to Windows 10 and Captivate 11.8.0.586. We have not been able to record Captivate videos that capture the mouse pointer since the update. Has anyone else had problems like this? It doesn't capture the mouse pointer in Video Demo or Software Simulation. The odd thing is that this only happens in Citrix. The mouse pointer is visible in all other applications. Is there a solution?
