Multiple assessment options in CP?

New Here ,

Been working with eLearnings for a bit now, but brand-new to CP. Did some searching but couldn't find anything specific to this.

I'm trying to create an interactive assessment. The built-in one is nice, but it seems limited in that it can only "quiz" the user on the information that is recorded in the demo/guided quiz/full assessment.

To elaborate, my company has a database that we can search for customers by:

Billing Telephone

Last name

Address

Username

If I do a software simulation, it's only going to capture the specific information I put in. Say I search for John Doe. That's all it will show. I'd like users to be able to use it as a true simulation in that I can input a specific set of parameters (say 10 customer accounts) and they will be able to search for, and use any one of those account to complete the assessment.

Is there a way to do this? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Loving CP so far! Was self-trained in Articulate Studio, but CP seems so much more robust!

Best,

Derek

Captivate doesn't offer the functionality of arrays within advanced actions. To achieve your kind of simulation you'd need to integrate JavaScript within Captivate, which is possible but probably not a work flow for a newbie.

Thanks, I figured as much, but wanted to check.

Lieve is correct about Advanced Actions not offering arrays.

But you could potentially fudge something that looked good enough to test user abilities for a limited number of Faux users.  You'd just need to use a lot of variables and some conditional actions.
