Captivate 2019, 11.8, MacBook Pro, Ventura OS 13.2.1.
Multiple Choice 'radio' buttons not being displayed on selection in a responsive project when published to HTML5.
Created two projects, one Blank Project, the other Responsive Project.
Added a Question Slide, Mulitiple Choice default of 2 answers to both projects, no other selctions made.
Radio buttons are selectable in both to assign correct answer.
In Preview Project and Publish of Blank Project, radio buttons confirm selection
In Preview Project and Publish of Responsive Project, radio buttons do not display to confirm selection
My workaround is to build custom Mulitple Choice question slides

All quiz slides are based on quizzing master slides. For the MCQ there is one such master slide in each theme. Which theme did you use for the Responsive project and for the non-responsive project? Is this a theme included with Captivate or is it a custom theme? I suspect you are using the Fluid Boxes workflow for the responsive project. The master slide in that case has all fluid boxes set up, did you edit any of them? All are normal fluid boxes with the exception of the Static fluid box having the feedback messages. Have a look at the exploration of these fluid boxes in:

Can you post a screenshot of the result in the responsive project?

I am a Windows user. I just double-checked: using Blue Veracity in a Fluid Boxes project I inserted a MCQ with two answers and keeping all default settings. Everything worked as expected, this was on a system with 11.8.1, version which is still not released for Mac AFAIK. I'm sorry, cannot help you, this seems to be another Mac bug, or the OS version is not compatible with Captivate 11.8.0.

Thanks, just as I suspected. I will report this to the AC support team. Hopefully 11.8.1 for Mac or AC 2023 will fix this.

I believe it is a Safari issue, not a Mac issue. I rendered both the blank and responsive projects in Firefox and "wunderbar" the radio buttons function as they should. I need to look at any settings in Safari to see if there is a selection fix there.

You didn't mention that you only use Safari. I always recommend NEVER to use Safari because it is famous for its limitations. Sorry about this rather sarcastic reply but I don't have much respect for the way Apple succeeds in making life so hard for non-Apple applications. Please use Chrome or Firefox, not Safari. I don't dare to mention Edge for obvious reasons but it is a lot better than Safari as well.

The reason I installed Firefox was due to the odditites Safari has with other apps. The Adobe Captivate System requirements for HTML5 states that for MAC OS Safari 12.1.1 (or later), Chrome 70 (or later) and Firefox 60 (or later) My Safari app is 16.3. so I assumed that it should be OK, I thought how wrong I was. My Firefox app is 111.0.1. Motto: Never assume, check. All is good, we move on.
