Multiple freezes/ crashes using Captivate 2019 (11.8.0.710) on Mac Studio running Monterey (12.6.2)

I'm new to Captivate and still using the free trial, and it keeps freezing and/or crashing during the following operations:

  • Trying to open a new blank project in using a Custom size (1280 x 720).
  • Trying to resize the project once it is already open.
  • Trying to apply a new theme to a resized project (on the few occasions when I've been able to actually get a custom size).
  • Trying to import a Powerpoint presentation.
  • Trying to import new Assets
  • Starting Captivate (sometimes it freezes on loading)

I have tried resetting the preferences multiple times, restting the preferences and then rebooting, etc. Not sure what else I can try?

Only very few Mac users are around to help you. I suspect you'd need version 11.8.1 because it has not yet be released. Sorry...

Is there somewhere I can report the crashes in the hopes that they might be addressed in the next version?

You should find the crash log files in the Captivate folder, but I have no idea how they 'look' on a Mac.
