I have set Quiz Preferences. Is there something else I need to do? Score do not show up after Publish or when Published to Prime LMS.
Did you check Advanced Interactions panel (F9) to see the scored objects
and the Total score? Did you delete embedded objects (have no individual
timeline) on the score slide?

I'm winging the trial I downloaded. So, no - I did not set object states - I did not see how to do that. The tutorials make it look so easy to add the slide but not 'points' for object states. I'll have to figure that one out. Thank you

Sorry, I never talked about object states at all. Did you check Advanced
Interaction panel?

Yes, I checked F9 - Adv Interaction Panel - all points are set to '0'. I tried double-click the score objects and totals - but did not get properties to define points? Not sure how to accomplish this...

That panel is not editable, it.is linked to Properties panel. You need to add scores. I still have no idea what you want to be scored. Scoreable objects are:
All those objects or slides have an actions tab which has a reporting section. In that section you check 'reporting', add a score, specify to add the score to the Quiz total.

I added several question slides and a Quiz Results slide. I don't know how you make the 'score', 'max-score', 'correct-questions', etc. show totals after the quiz is taken by a user. There is no Actions tab that I can see

Those fields will show automatically the score obtained by the user, but ON RUNTIME. What you show is the version on the stage, during editing. If you have indeed scored questions (see Advanced Interaction, sorry for the repetition) and you Preview this file in Browser or HTML in Browser you have an idea of how the results will show up. No actions needed at all.

I'm sorry but the scores do not display after running the quiz. I've saved and then published it and others as a test -- to Adobe Prime and registered users to take a course with the assessment- including myself. And no totals show - so either I am still missing a step or there is a bug in the trial version I am evaluating. I think the piece I am missing is your reference to 'If you have indeed scored questions" - HOW do you score the questions? Is there a step by step tutorial about this? There is not Actions tab displaying for this quiz project and Advanced Interactions show all '0' for points/scores. How do you 'score' is my question...

The trial version is fully functional.
Please, open Advanced Interaction panel (using F9 or from the project menu). Take a screenshot and insert it here in your post (use the still camera button to insert that image). Since you tell that everything is set to 0, you do not have any question slide, nor any scored object.
Each question slide has an Actions tab, same for each scored object. When you insert a question slide, the score by default is set to 10 points (look at the Quiz Properties panel) and there will be an entry and a total score in the Advanced Interactions panel.
Insert a Question, using the Quiz menu. Do NOT insert a Knowledge Check question, because those will not be scored, insert a normal question.

okay, I had inserted Knowledge Check questions - did not know that distinction that Knowledge Check questions do not score. Now, the scores are working fro Question Slides. Thank you.

I had the same problem - inserted thirty "Knowledge Check" slides for Assessment. Is there a quick way to turn the KC slides into "Question" slides without going through the tedious way of creating new Question slides and cutting and pasting info into them?

Sorry but no. Recreating them as Quiz Questions is the only way.
