My slides are doing a "fly" transition, but I don't have a transition selected...

My slides are "flying" from top to bottom, as if I set a transition setting. However, I have no transition selected.  Is there anything I can do to make it stop?   Intro to PTP1000 assessment

Two questions.

1. Was any part of the project imported from a PowerPoint presentation?

2. Your background to the slide is a .swf, does this have the animation in it?

Not imported from ppt and no animation in the swf. Funny that the slide doesn’t transition like this in another file in which all I have are quiz slides.

Quiz slides do use essentially the Master slide background. Not project background which IS in your case a SWF file, and that is animated!

You probably did copy/paste from a project which had PPT-slides imported, could explain the swf as background for Project. Change the background to a static background, or better, use a master slide that has that static background. Maybe you should try to understand the importance of themes?

Cappie,

I think your Captivate project is based on a PowerPoint. "Sample slides for WBT templates" 28 April 2017

The PowerPoint would have had a transition.

The transition has been converted to a .swf animation.

You are using the .swf animation as you Project background.

Solutions

Change the Project background to something else.

or

Change a Master Background, and draw your own coloured boxes at the top of the slide.

Good luck

Peter

That transition is built in the Flash movie which you use as background. Try to change to another background and you'll see that th transition disappears.

Funny, because it doesn’t do it in the file in which I have nothing but quiz question slides.
