Need help solving a unique LMS scoring problem

Hello all,

Not sure if anyone has run into this situation before, but it's the first time I've been asked to create a solution around this scenario:

A student enrolls in a small course. They have 60 days to start their access/launch. When they start their access, the clock is turned off by the LMS we are using (Cornerstone On Demand). However, right now, the course has the following set as the SCORM criteria: Complete/Incomplete = 100% of slide views (no quiz is used other than check your understanding questions, but we do not keep score). The situation is this, students would like to review the material again later even though they have completed the course. So we know that the LMS does not have a criteria to allow review periods (that we could find), only an access criteria based on their enrollment to the course. So once the student reaches the "Complete" status, no more access.

So I thought about doing this however I'm not sure how to implement it:

Last screen of each module should have a way to count the number of times this module has been viewed... something like (excuse my crude attempt at scripting): TimesReviewed = {TimesReviewed +1}  Now that I have this counter at the last slide of the module, I need to use this counter's current state to tie it to Complete/Incomplete. Something like (again, don't laugh at this script, it's descriptive not proper syntax):

If TimesReviewed = 3,

then Complete = True

else Complete = False

Has anyone run into something similar or has a better way to implement giving my students two additions review of the material after 1 initial review? I figure I can play around with the number of reviews easily if I get this syntax correct and if it works

Any ideas?

Thank you all!
