On my image button, only a portion of the button is active. How do I make the entire button clickable?

Can you please show us a screenshot of this image button showing the issue you describe?
I've not seen this problem with an image button. I HAVE seen it at times with other types of buttons though where only the stroke or text in the button responded.

Here is a screenshot. I couldn't get a screencast of the mouse rolling over the button.

Is this happening in HTML5 or SWF or both outputs?

It's happening in both outputs.

I just tested the same button on a project here in SWF and HTML5 output but could not see a problem with the hit area over the button.
Is it possible that you have another object somewhere on that slide that is invisibly covering the button hit area? Or is it possible that there is a similar invisible object on an earlier slide set timed to Rest of Project that might be covering part of the hit area.
To test, try moving the button down 20 or 30 pixels and see if more of the hit area then works.

Wait a minute. I know what it is: THAT PLAYBAR!!! Even though it's hidden it's still interfering. There's nothing I can do about this because I need those buttons at the top AND the audio mute and cc buttons from the playbar.

OK. That figures. The playbar is covering part of the Image Button's hit area.
Are you saying that you have your playbar at the top of the screen? Why not move it to the bottom. That's where most people would have it. There must be some way to position your navigation buttons so that they don't conflict with each other.

Just another idea, if you only need the mute and cc buttons from the playbar, why not use a custom shape button for each of them on the main master slide? You only need one shared action, and create one custom state on top of the InBuilt states for them:

I did this originally. But, the CC toggle was not working and when I installed the hotfix, I was getting the SWF error when I tried to publish. This issue was covered in a different thread.

Sorry, forgot you were the same person. BTW I have also issues with the hotfix, all effects are screwed up now when launched by advanced actions.

I sent someone at Adobe a copy of my presentation for them to look at (with the hotfix) so I'll just wait until they do an update.
