I want to insert an on-slide audio player with a play bar and controls. I'd rather have this on the slide than just have the user use the captivate play bar (which I have hidden). Is this possible?
Build it in HTML5 and insert as an HTML5 animation. You can get some very simple demos at www.w3schools.com

If I did that, would I have to call the audio from a server? Or could it play from the library?

You would package the audio file with the hamlet file

There's a file for Hamlet? Cool! Is there one for Romeo and Juliet too?
(Oh wait...that was probably the spell-checker 'correcting' HTML, wasn't it?)

Sometimes I really hate my phone, and the fact that I couldn't see what I was typing. Time for a new prescription!

Doing it with an HTML5 animation worked perfectly. Thank you!
