Is there any method of resetting the table of contents without impacting custom groups? I have an extensive amount of groups I setup directly in the TOC and now I need to insert a new slide which needs to appear in the TOC. Hitting the reset TOC button will add the new slides and insert the slide name into the TOC, but then I'll have to setup all my custom TOC groups again. Anything I can do to avoid this? I'm guessing no, but thought I'd check.
I'm sorry, but answer is negative. I learned since TOC appeared to create and edit it only after finishing the project. BTW for the highest level of grouping, you can group slides in the Filmstrip, the group name will be taken over in the TOC. If you want more than one level of grouping, the subgroups can only be created in the TOC, not in the Filmstrip.

That's a bummer about the reset. Hopefully Adobe would see the benefit of a reset where you can specify what aspects of the TOC you want to rest. I can see a need to reset different components of the TOC depending on the circumstances. Being able to do multiple levels of grouping directly in the Filmstrip would also be beneficial.

I agree about multiple levels in the Filmstrip as well. For the rest, just wait with creating the TOC until everything is done.

I thought I was done, because I didn't think there was a way to reset only certain aspects, but I found that I had to create new slides due to additional content.
