Packaging All Assets in Executable File

New Here ,

Hello,

I'm a Storyline guy, but am using Captivate for a client. I'm updating a course which they've published as an executable file.

Within the course, they have some extra javascript and some html files that hold their video player. They use advanced actions to trigger these videos.

When I publish as an .exe file, it doesn't bring in the .html files and other source files, so the link doesn't work (it works in preview mode, though).

So essentially, the final package would look something like this (things in bold are not pulling in):

CaptivateOutput.exe

  • captivate.html/.swf, etc
  • video1.html
  • video1.flv
  • Scripts Folder
    • video1.js

Anyone have any wisdom on this? Beginning to think they did some extra legwork to put it together into one big .exe file.

Thanks for the help!

How long ago was the original course created?  What version of Captivate was used.

This may have been back in the days when Captivate had more options for encapsulating things like video files.
