New Here ,
Sep 27, 2017 Sep 27, 2017

I use both a PC and Mac.  Moved My Adobe Project folder into Dropbox to sync and did the same with the cache files.  Can't figure our how to share electronic assets between the 2.

Any experts have an idea???????

You may encounter issues with project corruption using your current approach.

Use only local folders on your PC hard drive as default locations, never any folder that might be attached to a virtual server.  Your project cache folder is NOT intended to be shared with another user.  It's supposed to be a local hard drive folder that is used when you are actually working on a CPTX file.

If you want to use Dropbox as your backup location:

  • Download from Dropbox to a local folder and THEN open the CPTX with Captivate.
  • Copy to Dropbox only AFTER closing down from Captivate.
