What's happened to ability to import a photoshop file into Captivate, then edit it in photoshop and then see the updated changes in captivate? When I import a photoshop file (either flattened image, or layers selected) it just comes out as a png file. When i click edit in photoshop, the image is flattened and I lose all the layers in my photoshop file. I'm sure in the past I was able to directly edit an image in photoshop, link it to the captivate library and see instant changes. Is this due to the recent Creative Cloud update?
I'm using Photoshop CC 2015

I see that your post on Audition also relates to CC 2015 which was released only last week. So, even if you are using CP8, since it is a year old now, it must be due to compatibility issues.

May I ask if you posted this same question in the Photoshop and the Audition forum? Those applications were updated and (again - happened often in the past with similar upgrades) seem to have wrecked the collaboration with Captivate. Especially for PS this is really frustrating.
For Photoshop I suspect this is due to the new feature 'artboards'. Of course, the new CC installation process will now delete all older versions unless you go into the Advanced settings. It would have been nice if Captivate users had been warned to keep the older versions CC2014 of Photoshop/Audition. There must be a way to downgrade and repeat the process of installing the new version along the old one. Try to find information on the CC-forums, if I find some links, will post again.

Check this link to download the previous versions of CC. Haven't tried it myself though.
Download and install Adobe Creative Cloud apps

Thanks Lilybiri and Sreekanth,
I just put in a product request in the Photoshop and Audition forums. Ill try installing the older version on my secondary hard drive.
