How to create a standalone playbar for individual slide in captivate9?
Anitha,
I think you may be referring to the SeekBar or ProgressBar component in a typical Captivate playbar. Is that correct?
The Captivate playbar works differently to the playbars often used in other authoring tools like Articulate Storyline.
The seekbar or progressbar in a Captivate's playbar applies across the entire project, not for a single slide (like Storyline seekbars do).
There is no option in the Captivate playbar controls to change this behaviour. If it doesn't work the way you want, i

There is no option in the Captivate playbar controls to change this behaviour. If it doesn't work the way you want, it may be necessary to disable this feature.
If your output is SWF, not HTML5, the Infosemantics Slider Control widget can be used to create a simulated seekbar.

To explain the move: you posted this question in the Lounge, which is meant for general discussions, not for technical questions about a specific Adobe application. For that reason your thread was moved to the appropriate Adobe Captivate forum.
Somewhere on the web there is a solution to create an individual playbar per slide. But wanted to add that the design of Captivate is meant to have pretty short slides, hence the default duration of 3 seconds. That explains why there is no default playbar per slide.

I am assuming by the term "playbar" that you are talking about having a sliding bar that shows progress through an individual slide rather than for the entire module (as the current Captivate playbar does). Is that correct?
If so, send me a personal message with your email address and I will email you a CPTX file I have created with three slides and three instances of the Infosemantics Trial Version of the Slider Component widget set up to achieve that result. You can study the project file and see how I have achieved this result.

OK. Well that's DIFFERENT to what I understood.
The solution I was offering to help you with using the Infosemantics Slider Control Widget is ONLY related to the Scrubber bar. Not the other buttons you are now listing.
I'm happy to send you the CPTX that illustrates how to create the single slide scrubber bar, but the other buttons can easily be created using normal Smart Shape buttons in Captivate.
If your knowledge of Captivate is so limited that you may not as yet know how to use Smart Shape buttons, I think you may find that what I was proposing re using a Slider Control widget would be simply beyond your current abilities. It's a bit of a complex area.

Indeed, totally different from what we understood. To create custom buttons, which you can use on the master slide(s) or on the first slide, timed for the rest of the project, you can indeed use shape buttons. Maybe this blog post will give you some ideas:

If all you really want is a playbar for SWF output, the default Captivate playbar is more than adequate and will do everything you want EXCEPT the bit about having a scrubber bar that applies ONLY to each single slide.
I personally do not believe there is such compelling advantage in having the scrubber work slide by slide rather than over the entire project. Either solution works fine as far as the end users is concerned. It's just a personal preference either way.
