I think this topic has been discussed before, but wanted to revisit it to see if anyone can assist. We are creating interactive videos with smart shapes used as buttons superimposed on top of the video. Users are asked questions and respond by clicking a button, whereby the Captivate course branches to different videos based on the user responses. This works great on the desktop browser and Android, but the IOS system puts the IOS player controls in front of everything else and the interactive buttons are never visible when playing on an Iphone.
I've tried javascript, advanced actions, and other less desirable ways to get the IOS video player controls to either disappear or at least auto-advance when a video ends. Instead the controls are always visible and the user must click the 'X' player button to even advance the course to the next slide after the video.
Has anyone figured out a way to seamlessly defeat the IOS video player controls for a better user experience? I have heard that the Webkit <video playsinline> attribute will effect such behavior, but I don't know how to implement it. I've tried advanced actions/javascript but nothing has worked thus far.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated!
