Hello; I'm building a Captivate file that is a mix of regular slides and software simulation slides. I'm working in Captivate 8.0.3.290 on a pc with Windows 10. Both the file and screen size are 1920x1080.
When I preview the file and publish it, the output is bigger than my screen, so there are scroll bars on the bottom and side.
How do I make it so the output is the same as my screen size or smaller so that the entire output can be viewed?
Thank you for your help.
Since a published file will always be in a browser or a LMS window, when defining the resolution of a project in Captivate, you need to take into account the amount of spece needed by that browser or LMS. You should never develop with a resolution that is covering your screen resolution, because you'll never have that when viewing or previewing the output.
There is no general rule, because browsers and LMS all take up different spaces horizontally and vertically. You could use an app like Sizer

You can change the resolutio of a cptx-file from the Modiry menu, but you have to be aware that every change in size always lead s to quality loss, althoug shrinking the resolution is always better than trying to increase the size.
