Print without MS Word installed

Hello,

I am new to Captivate, having previously used Moodle's quiz capability.

One of the things that I am trying to do is to print out all of my quiz questions WITH solutions.  Our department is accredited every few years and as part of the review process we must supply all assessments with solutions.

I have imported one of my quizzes from Moodle to Captivate, which is a tiring process but not too bad.  But now having gotten almost all the way there, I find that I MUST install MS Word in order to print out my quiz questions with solutions (I am using the Print to Lesson option).  I have tried exporting to XML but there doesn't seem to be any way of viewing the XML properly (not in word processor or browser).

There does not seem to be any way around this by say specifying a different application to open the MS Word document generated.

You gotta be kiddin me - I REALLY HAVE to install MS Word to get this output???

Yep, you need to have MS Word installed to get this output.  If you don't like it, log an enhancement request.

Personally, I prefer using the Print option that gives you Handouts.  Select the option to view all quiz slides.  This will show you the quiz questions as well as the feedback captions.  You need to arrange everything on the slide so that you can read the captions properly.  My clients don't mind this output at all for gaining approval of the quiz assessment components.
