Problem when publishing a project on LMS

New Here ,
Aug 18, 2016 Aug 18, 2016

I have a licence of Captivate for Mac.

I have created a project from a PPT.

When I test the project on my Mac everything is ok: I see the project with the original animations of PPT.

My client uploaded the project (scorm + html5)  on his LMS but the animations of PPT are not taken into consideration, I can see the project with the videos that I have uploaded on Captivate, but no animations from PPT.

I have published the project on Captivate Prime (30 days trial) and I have the same problem.

I think there is a problem in the link between Captivate and the PPT, but I don't know how to solve it

Thanks in advance for helping me

This sounds like you could be linking to content outside the Cp published folder.

On the author's machine (yours) the project would publish correctly, preview, and play correctly from the browser.

However, the uploaded version will try to look local for the files, which may be linked using the file:\\\<Drive>\folder|<path>\filename.??? pattern.

I'd investigate the Cp file to see if content was linked incorrectly, try moving source files to a NEW temp directory on your desktop and replay the content. Once you move the critical file you'll have an error message to troubleshoot.

Thanks for your quick answer.

I have tried to move the PPT source of my project on my desktop, I have asked Captivate to modify the project with PPT (see 1st screenshot).

Captivate created a file "CaptivateTempPPT" that I could modify, but it is not my original file.

If I look in the bibliotheque, I still see the link with my original file PPT that is still on my google drive (see second screenshot)

But, how can this help me to publish correctly ?

Thanks again
