I add a widget to my project and it doesn't work after publishing. I only see the loading screen. Can anyone help me? I can send you an example.

Which 'widget' did you use? Was it one of the Learning Interactions, an external widget?

Some interactions will only be functional after uploading to a webserver. Did you test that way?

Which version of Captivate do you use? Please, full version number as you can find under Help, About Captivate.

Reason for my question: that YT interaction is no longer included with version 11.5 nor 11.8. Probably because they have been a lot of problems with it in former versions.

The title of your thread is misleading, since you have only problems with this particular interaction...

YouTube itself changes its API making this widget obsolete. Use Slide video with the video coming from YouTube instead. Alternatively, you can use a web object with the source being the YouTube video itself. Keep in mind that if you are not the author of the YouTube video, the author may have not set permission to allow embedding of their video, in which case these options won't work for you.

The Youtube widget is just an example - no one widget wants to work

Are you adding these 'widgets' via the Interactions > Learning Interactions > Dialog?
