Hello! So every once in a while a published file, that has been loaded into an LMS, and has been working, will randomly stop working/loading. I take the original file, publish it again, or at times just reload the publish file from before and the file is working again...
Any one know why this happens? Its almost as if I have reset the file like you would a computer.
Thoughts?

What version of Adobe Captivate are you using? What LMS are you running? What settings are you using when publishing your courses?

I have the subscription version... I check for updates every 2 weeks.... I am also on a MAC, el capitan... I am running Exponential Impact as an LMS and for settings I use 2004... (i have self taught myself captivate the last 4-5months so this is new to me)

Can you test the published file on SCORM Cloud, to figure out if the problem is due to Captivate or to the LMS?

I have and do. I first publish it... test in scorm cloud... if it works I publish into our LMS.. once published I test it and preview it... and its working 100%. But then it seems like every once in a while i get an email from someone saying the course (that was just working for 100 other people) just stopped loading... I log into the LMS.. i preview it... and they are right it just stopped loading... I then reload it with the same published zip file (or sometimes i make a new one) and its working fine again.

I may be wrong, but that really looks like a LMS problem, have difficulties to imagine how this can be due to Captivate since the file is published. You can test many times on SCORM Cloud as well, did you ever see this happening there?

I saw it happen in our old LMS as well... courses just randomly stopped loading... Is it possible its my computer and program not working together to cause an error in the published file do you think? I feel its almost like I have to "reset" the training like you would do to a computer when the computer stops responding.
