Publishing Captivate 9 course to Skillport 8 LMS

Does anyone use Skillport 8 as their LMS to publish courses created in Captivate 9?  I am brand new to e-learning and am trying to publish a course into Skillport and am having issues.  Is there a way to directly publish to the LMS from Captivate or does the course have to be saved somewhere else first?

If you turn on reporting in quiz Preferences, and set up the Reporting, the published version will automatically be a zipped SCORM package.

The usual process for any LMS is that you publish to a SCORM ZIP file from Captivate and then you upload that ZIP file to the LMS via some method.  Most LMSs I have worked with have some kind of import function.

Are you saying that your version of Skillport doesn't allow you to upload a SCORM Zip?

Hi there - thanks for your help!  It looks like the LMS will let me upload a SCORM zip package...but I do not know how to save my file in the SCORM zip package format?

Thank you very much.  I did that, but now when I go to publish I get an error message saying "unknown exception" then "publish failed".  Ugh...  Any insight on this one?  Thanks in advance for your help!

Try hiding groups of slides in the project and then republish to see if you can isolate which slide/s might be tripping up the publish function.

Thank you...I reached out to Adobe help.  Looks like it was a security issue with my network drive.  I saved it to my desktop and everything worked out!  Thanks so much for your help!

Ah...now it makes sense.  You were trying to publish direct from Captivate to a LAN network drive?
