Is there a way to disable the "Click "y" or anywhere on slide to continue"?
I have a created a branching scenario type quiz. At some point the learner can chose to "go back" to select the "2nd" branch. However the automated continue action takes precedence and moves the learner to the next sequential screen and the alternative branch selection button is not activated. I have tried using all the "Last Attempt" options and the on slide entry/exit options. None of these solve my problem.
I am hoping not to have to create a series of customized quiz slides with advanced actions at this stage. Any suggestions?
Thank you

I don't understand your question at all. That message is to explain the user how to end the two step Submit process. When the learner presses Y or click on the question slide, the playhead is released and the actions that YOU define for Success or Last Attempt are executed. If going to another slide backwards is what you want to do, you have to make sure to allow backwards movement in the Quiz Preferences.

Of course you DO understand my question.. . I do have "backwards movement" selected in preferences. I have also already tried all of the options you give above i.e. defined "Success" and "Last Attempt" in different ways and still can't go backwards on customized button created.
Thanks

It is because you confuse me a lot. A question lide has only an On Enter event, the On Exti event doesn't exist, it is replaced by the Submit process. You talk about a 'customized' button, is that an existing button or a shape button added to the question slide? Do you have multiple attempts? Did you delete any embedded objects on the quiz slide?

I have a customized shape button added to the question slide. Only one attempt allowed - it is true/false.

So now...sometimes the customized button (go back 2 or 4 slides depending on original branch selection) appears to work correctly, other times it incorrectly takes the user forward to the next slide . I think I will have to create customized quiz slides with advanced actions to ensure a consistent/correct user experience.
Thanks
