Quiz Preferences: Pass/Fail Points Not Working

Hello - I need to set the pass/fail for my course in points rather than percentage, but the points field won't let me change it from "0." I can select points, but I'm not able to enter the pass/fail points.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Are there any quiz questions or scored interactive objects set to report to quiz in your project as yet?  If not, add some and see whether or not you can then set the points value.

If that doesn't work, try resetting Preferences.

I reset the master slides for the quizzes and it seemed to help. It works now. I'm not sure if it was the master slide or something else, but not it's working.

Can you check Advanced Interaction panel (F9) to see if you have indeed scored objects in this file? Which version of CP are you using, please?

I'm having the same problem.  I am not able to set passing points.  It just goes back to 0.  Advanced Interactions show the scored objects.

What do you mean by 'I am not able to set passing points'? Can you elaborate? Not sure this is the same question as what started the thread.

In Quiz Preferences you can set points needed to get a passing score. Exactly as the original thread shows.  I couldn't change it from 0 to another number - it would revert back to 0.  But I spoke with Captivate tech support and found the scored object also had to have the 'Add to total' option checked. So now it works.

That was what I was looking for. If the score was not added to the Total score, you should have seen it in the Advanced Interaction panel, but you told that was OK which was puzzling me.
