Hi,
I was wondering if there was a way a student can review the quiz in sections.
Let me elaborate. I've got a course with four sections, and each section has a quiz element. Now if the student has to review the quiz results, they can only do that at the end of the quiz, which is a bummer, reinforcing learning here can get confusing as the four sections are different to each other. Is it possible to have four quiz results in one captivate file?
Thanks in advance.
It is a SCORM requirement that each file can have only one quiz, that is not a limitation imposed by Captivate.
You didn't tell if this is a scored quiz, if the score has to be transferred to a LMS.
I explained how to create an intermediate score results slide, using the default question types.

Captivate by default does not allow this. I would suggest you should be thinking of splitting your current course up into four modules so that a section of your current big quiz is then at the end of each module. That will give you what you want, and you may find there are several other benefits that will also come from doing this. For one thing the course modules will load faster, and you will also get more granular reporting from your LMS.

Thank you Rod. I'll try working out what you suggested by splitting them into different modules. Will get back if I encounter any issues.

Possible workarounds are to have different files for each quiz, which you call from the main file, or to create everything with custom slides using standard objects, variables, advanced/shared actions.

If it is a SCORM requirement, then that explains it and I understand. I think I should be able to work around it.
It is a scored quiz.
Thank you for your response, I do appreciate it.

It's a SCORM requirement that each SCO only have one quiz score. If captivate would enable functionality to create a course with four SCOs (modules) contained within a single course, it would be the most exciting feature I've ever seen. We could achieve the objectives of what many of us need to do: create micro-learning to meet learners' needs comprised of (possibly) dozens of SCOs all contained and tracked within one course of study. I feel like our broader question is: what is a SCO.

A SCO is a Shareable Conten Object. It's a concept explained here:
SCORM Shareable Content Objects (SCOs)
Captivate already allows for multi-SCO structured courses.
All you have to do is create each SCO module in a different CPTX file, publish out to SCORM zip files with the same COURSE ID settings in each SCO, but with different settings for SCO ID and SCO NAME. (These settings are found under Quiz > Reporting > Configure.) Then once you have separate SCO zip files, open the Adobe Multi-SCORM Packaging tool that comes free with Captivate, and bundle all of these SCO zips into a single multi-SCORM course.
