Hi friends,

im having query in captivate 8, i have inserted the default NEXT buton which is there in the quiz properties and when i click on tht it takes me to the next question slide. bt the prblm is i wnt the user to submit the answer first then onli he can move to next question slide.

is tht possible.

Next button has a double functionality: during Quiz it is meant as a Skip button, you need it only if you allow Review later on, because in that situation it is needed as a real Next button.

The easiest way to avoid confusion, to push the user at only using the Submit button, is to drag the Next button under the Clear button. The Clear button will disappear during review and reveal the Next button. See also:

This issue doesn't exist anymore in CP9 because there are now dedicated Next and Back buttons that only appear during Review.
